Anand Pandian views on tamil cinema

Talking to reporters at a press conference, the book ‘Reel World’s author Anand Pandian remarked how the recent films in Tamil cinema are bringing a closeness among the audience and fans. There is a touch of masculinity in the movies. Manhood which has been revealed a lot in action movies are showing and telling people about how impt it is to be a man. There are also movies that aim at family ties. He talked about Subramaniapuram (2008) which was a movie which had new faces who could be related to anybody walking on the street.

What is Bollywood without dancing? Apart from promoting various products, a lot of big Bollywood celebrities are also famous for dancing at VIP weddings. Some of them have also been criticized for this.

So whatzup in Bollywood world? By now, we all know that Sonu Sood is doing a Hollywood film Kung Fu Yoga with Jackie Chan (that’s being directed by Stanley Tong), the undisputed king of martial arts.

Gossips have that besides finishing the first schedule of the same, the two actors have really become thick pals.

Reports have it that whilst leaving for China, Jackie Chan had promised Sonu Sood that he will teach him Chinese when he comes there. If that wasn’t enough, Jackie Chan also presented Sonu Sood a book on his film with a personalized handwritten note for Sonu.

“As a kid, I used to watch six films a day. I’ve watched Kuch Kuch Hota Hai five times and Jab We Met six times in a theatre. It was hilarious. Later, I starred in the Tamil remake of Jab We Met,” she says.

Karan Johar has bought the Hindi rights of Baahubali. Talking about her association with the filmmaker, she says, “I am happy he is associated with the film as it needs the right kind of push. Karan has a good sense of humour, he pulls my leg too but pyaar se.”
